Pointers Pointers indicate game by locking up on point to let the hunter know where the game is located. The hunter then walks up to flush the game. Some pointers are trained to retrieve also. Some examples of the Pointing breeds are: English Pointers, English Setters, German Shorthairs, Brittany's etc...
