Linden Kennels

We are located in the south east corner of Iowa. Hal and his wife Muffin, help with the running of our kennels. Hal Chaney is the trainer. He's been training gun dogs full time since 1986. He trains any kind of Gun dog that is brought to him as long as the dog has enough natural ability to be worth training.

Some examples of natural abilities would be nose, desire to run, interest in retrieving for Spaniels & Retrievers, and pointing instinct for the pointing breeds, athletic ability, mental stability, etc. These are traits that can't be trained, the dogs are born with these abilities or not and to a high enough degree to satisfy their owner or not.
